The Challenge
Barwon Water appointed Hydronis Solutions to deploy our specialised monitoring technology across several high-risk sites, with the aim of mitigating and preventing SSOs in an environmentally sensitive area.
Our Solution
Hydronis SubSonic ultrasonic and pressure sensors were deployed at 10 No. strategic locations identified by Barwon Water. Real-time monitoring and predictive analytics enabled proactive crew dispatch.
The Outcome
Within the two months of the Program, Barwon Water has successfully mitigated 2 No. SSO events and avoided significant cost in potential regulatory fines and cleanup costs.

Comprehensive sewer flow monitoring project of Bathurst Regional Council sewer network to provide real-time data to confirm hydraulic modelling study.
The Challenge
Provide high-quality flow level and rate, as well as rainfall data for Bathurst Regional Council and their Consultant Mott MacDonald to overlay against predicative values of their hydraulic modelling system
Our Solution
Install a network of 30 SubSonic ultrasonic and pressure sensors at selected positions throughout the catchment area, providing real-time site data.
The Outcome
As well as providing high-quality flow and rainfall data, Hydronis provided additional benefits to Council, including nominating points experiencing significant Inflow & Infiltration in the system.
